9th Air Force In Action Today |
| The policy of the 9AFA is to maintain a continuing interest in 9th Air
Force activities, both past and ongoing. This web site will keep in contact with the
people and organizations of that Air Force. What is happening with and to them is of
interest not only for the people of the USA and the World but for efficiency and
effectiveness of the USAF. On that basis, information concerning projects and activities,
interesting and worthy of publication, will be presented here. Such information is
expected to come from 9th Air Force base publications, directly from individuals with
items of universal interest or from information submitted to and published in the 9AFA
Flyer. For that reason, we encourage input from most any source considered reliable. The Base Newspaper at Langley AFB announces they received the first F-22 Raptor in 2004. Hq USAF has given the 1st Fighter Wing the honor of being the first operational wing to receive the F-22. We offer our congratulations.
